I have used Picasso and this app for years. It is wonderful to carry so many photos in your phone so easily. Picasso is now more difficult to use, yet web albums is not!
Does what is built for with nice interface.
Thumbnails from camera roll do not display when trying to upload, so you cant tell what youre uploading. Please fix! Previous review Extremely satisfied already, but will be 5 stars when it allows to reorder photos in the album and copy/move photos between albums
nuff said!
No longer works in iOS 9 -- cant retrieve albums not cached on cellular
For the past few days I have been having trouble loading my photos and videos to an album. This never happened before Please help!!!
Always a great app! But cannot upload videos after I updated my iPhone to 9.0.1 It be in the process of uploading but it wouldnt compete (the blue line indicating the progress would just freeze)! Even if its a 3 second video it would stay in upload mode forever. So I would always have to cancel. Please help!
Nice to have iPhone access but the cluster mess with g drive and g photos is making organizing a disaster.
iOS 9.1 I choose photos from my camera roll, then it asks me to create a new album. Then I get a message : create album failed : a new Picasa album could not be created. Check your internet connection and try again. It seems I wasted 2 $ here Kindly fix
Love it.. So much
This is confusing I couldnt figure it out and how to get started. It wont let me get into my google account or let me view my albums someone please help!!
App will not upload anymore and email support will not respond to my emails requesting support.
Bought the app with the sole purpose of viewing friends Picasa albums. Only the app doesnt recognize any of my friends nor is there any way to open up the links theyve sent me via gmail. Worthless
I have found the new Apple Photos UI to be disorienting and impossible to use. Google Photos is better, but it shows photos in reverse chronological order. In other words, when you browse photos of a wedding day, the first thing you see is the bride and groom riding off into the sunset, and the last thing you see is the guests arriving. Which product manager thought of this? Enter Web Albums: the best of both worlds. The ease of use of the Google Photos UI, and photos in actual chronological order! Never mind the albums, slideshows etc. The main thing is, the default view is folders labeled by date. Go into any folder, and you’ll see the photos in chronological order. That is all I ever wanted. Organize photos by date, and view them in order. It’s insane that none of the major apps can actually do this. Luckily Web Albums can and I would buy it 100 times over just for that. Simple is better. Good job, guys.
And easy to use
Great application to view and manage the web albums. It doesnt need access to your phones photo library to use—unlike Google Photos.
I hope everyone realizes that in signing into this app (and any other 3rd party suite accessing Googles portfolio) that you are providing them your master username and password. That includes to Gmail. Some questions: Do you know who has access to the app company data? Are you absolutely sure they encrypt user data? Are you absolutely sure they are trustworthy? Would you walk up to a stranger and provide them your gmail username and password? How is this different? This app maker may well be an honorable company. Thats not the question though. The issue is: are you absolutely sure they are? Just food for thought.
You will like this for your smartphone.
Good app, but please add the ability to arrange photos within an album by date, etc.
